Welcome to another Quilt Block Mania! For this month, March 2023, the theme is flowers, and there are so many fun blocks to grab and try out!
POPPY FLOWER BLOCK
You may have noticed, but I tend to create two types of blocks for quilt block mania: traditional pieced and appliqué. This month my pattern is a traditionally pieced design that features a fun and simple poppy flower design, just in time for spring!
POPPIES AND POSIES QUILT PATTERN
This block is inspired by my very own quilt pattern that was released last year featuring Poppy and Posy themed blocks. I enlarged the inner part of the block to 12", which makes a fun design for a pillow. You can also add a 4" border to create a larger 20" pillow design.
